so it's wednesday and i'll actually post something related
to the thread topic...
why don't the dance auctions go well?
i went to the con november 07 i think...and
it didn't go to hot there either...
what if we offered a free polaroid (do they make those anymore?)
of you and your "purchase"? some kind of prom-ish gimic?
you and your date on a coffee mug? etc...
the money raised always goes to charity so it's not wasted...
^.^
what a crime,
such a beautiful crime...

Maybe it's the music played? XD maybe there needs to be better music. I'm just guessing, I haven't been to any of the dances yet.

i think the auctions dont go very well because people get up there and just stand, no emotion or anything.
plus people are broke lol.

Bah. Have some decent showmanship, people! :P Gotta get up there and show your stuff!

Not too much of it, though, there's kids out in the crowd.

what if dinner was included?
with every "purchase" you get a couple of happy meals??
that way you get a dinner date and a toy...

Hehe, that actually sounds pretty fun. I may be more inclined to show up more often now if it means a dinner date AND a toy. :3
